Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations at our upscale restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and inspire a team. This role is crucial to ensuring our guests receive the highest level of service and enjoy a seamless, sophisticated dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the front of the house, including the dining room, bar, and reservations.
  • Responsible for the Beverage program including wine selection and cocktail menu.
  • Manage, train, and mentor front-of-house staff, ensuring a high level of service.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement service standards and training programs.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and grace.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, including beverages and front-of-house supplies.
  • Work closely with the events team to coordinate service for weddings and special events.
  • Manage the front-of-house budget, including labor costs and sales targets.
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies to increase restaurant visibility and revenue.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Front of the House Manager or similar role in a high-end restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable in wine and fine dining service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and reservation management software.
  • Understanding of restaurant health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
