Guest satisfaction in our restaurant revolves around the food appearance, high quality and overall dining experience. The sauté cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry stations, grill, sauté or other areas of the kitchen.

The sauté cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry stations, grill, sauté or other areas of the kitchen.
General Responsibilities
- Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follows recipes, creates consistent products, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
- Preps, labels and restocks all items as needed throughout the shift
- Cleans and maintains station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and
- Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment on
- Knows cooking times and temperatures of grilled meats
- Lead the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and
- Making sure item pars are prepped for following service and willing to stay until job is complete
- Able to multi task on the line and take ownership of station
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by Management and Chefs
Experience/ Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- Hot line, fast paced experience
- Knowledge of stocks, Mother sauces, and Monter au Beurre
Skills/Aptitudes:
- Professional communication skills are required
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
- Able to work multiple stations and repetitive motions
