Job Summary:
The General Maintenance Technician will assist in the upkeep and repair of our hotel property. This individual will work on a variety of tasks, including painting projects, groundskeeping, minor repairs to appliances and fixtures, and general clean-up. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and the ability to perform various repair and carpentry tasks.

The General Maintenance Technician will assist in the upkeep and repair of our hotel property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and the ability to perform various repair and carpentry tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance tasks, including:
- Painting projects and touch-ups
- Groundskeeping and outdoor maintenance
- Small repairs to appliances, fixtures, and hotel property
- Door frame adjustments, lock and handle set replacements
- Drywall patching and repairs
- Hanging pictures and general carpentry work
- Use hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Measure and cut materials using a tape measure
- Follow verbal and written instructions to complete projects
- Assist with clean-up and disposal of materials after completing maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and report directly to the Hotel Maintenance Director
Qualifications:
- Experience in general building and household maintenance (door/frame adjustments, painting, carpentry, etc.)
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Familiarity with tape measures and basic measurements
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus
